Over the summer, I had the opportunity to work on a donation project as part of the Collaborative Healthcare Foundation (CHF) to support a rural primary healthcare center in Bangalore, India. The village has made some progress but still lacks many healthcare resources. After speaking with the lead doctor and medical manager, we donated adult and pediatric ambu bags, hemoglobinometers with strips, Odomos anti-mosquito cream, and fetal dopplers.
The Odomos cream has already been distributed to families to help protect them from mosquito bites, and the fetal dopplers are being used for maternal checkups. This project is a small but important step toward improving healthcare access in this community, and I’m excited to be a part of it with CHF.
